You have seen it on television and in the movies--the cars, airlines, sunglasses, etc., --product placement marketing. Ram's Horn Educational, LLC is providing manufacturers of environmental-related equipment and companies conducting environmental services an opportunity to enter the product placement market in the development of our groundwater educational software, "Virtual Ground Water Academy (VGWA)." Dr. Gary A. Robbins, Professor of Geology at the University of Connecticut, is developing the software. Dr. Robbins has over 20 years of experience in the ground water profession as a regulator, environmental consultant, researcher and educator. He recently authored the award winning CD "Expedited Site Assessment: The CD", multimedia technical guidance on conducting investigations at UST sites published by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (http://www.esacd.uconn.edu).

VGWA is as an alternative to college level textbooks, an aid to enhance in-classroom lectures and exercises and a reference tool for environmental professionals. VGWA incorporates different learning levels applicable to a broad based undergraduate level market. VGWA contains simulations, animations, slide presentations, digital photos, PC video, and QuickTime virtual reality movies. Examples of equipment, field tests, and laboratory tests will be shown. To raise capital for the software development, we are seeking corporate sponsors and offering to place products in the software in an exclusive but non-endorsed manner, as examples. Any product shown will be labeled on screen as to manufacturer. The company will also receive an acknowledgment in the credits. Additional credit and a URL link to the companies web site will be given on an Internet site that supports the software.
